I'm Chelsea Z., the breeder behind Farmhouse Labradors located in Lexington, NC. We are very selective in who we choose to breed our puppies with. Each litter from Farmhouse Labradors is strategically planned and genetically health tested to ensure excellent health for the life of the puppy. In addition to superb health, we also strive for outstanding temperament.
Q. & A. with Chelsea
Why did you start breeding?
In 2015, we came across this beautiful, happy, playful puppy who soon became known as “Dixie.” In just a short time, we began training with Dixie in basic obedience training. After seeing how well she performed, she went on to get her Canine Good Citizen title and become a Certified Therapy Pet. Dixie had her very first litter in April 2018 and that is when Farmhouse Labradors began!
What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are AKC registered and we are extremely meticulous when caring for these new babies; from birth, nutrition, cleanliness, socialization, and training. You gain a family member when buying from Farmhouse Labradors. We are so passionate about what we do and take personal pride in breeding such wonderful pups!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
