I'm Logan A., the breeder behind Fawn Lane Shetland Sheepdogs located in Leesburg, OH. Fawn Lane Shetland Sheepdogs was founded by a lifelong lover of the breed, with a passion for Shelties that began in childhood. Growing up active in AKC Juniors and 4-H, I developed a deep appreciation for responsible breeding, proper structure, and the special bond between people and their dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
Breeding and showing dogs kind of goes hand in hand when you're committed to bettering the breed. When I knew my kids were old enough for me to give this my whole heart, I jumped back in and started getting to work. It truly fills my cup.What makes your program special?
We're not just any breeding program. I truly give this the attention that it deserves, which means little to no sleep when we have litters, no vacations, and spending time at home when I could be doing something else. But, this is one of my biggest passions in life aside from my kids and family and so I'm not missing out on anything. I love creating these beautiful companions for all of you.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle and white, sable and white, blue merle white and tan, blue merle and white, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Logan
Logan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Logan partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We generally have a good idea of who will be available by 6 weeks of age. Final decisions on who will be available are made at 8 weeks of age, although we try to keep in mind the purchaser's preferences. Breeder to keep in touch with the purchaser on who we are thinking will be available as the litter grows.”
Price
“The price includes, age appropriate healthcare, AKC registration application, & a go home kit (food, toys, blanket). We also offer a 2 year health guarantee against fatal hereditary defects. All puppies are the same price regardless of gender or color. Your deposit secures your place for a puppy in the current litter, pending a well check by our veterinarian. Refundable pending well check.”

Monkey is a beautiful Sable and white boy who is tri-factored-This means he has the ability to sire tri colored offspring. He is a sweet heart and just wants to be on your lap or under your feet. He loves to play and carries stuffed animals around like it's his job. :) He is an absolute gentleman who just wants to please. Monkey is OFA certified GOOD for hips, OFA cleared for eyes and has a clear genetic panel. He regularly participates in AKC shows and is a Champion.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Dermatomyositis, Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
