I'm Mikayla C., the breeder behind Fianna Collies located in Mebane, NC. Hello! My name is Mikayla and I’m the person behind Fianna Collies! I grew up with a menagerie of animals, but always had a particular love for dogs. Collies? I love this breed and my love started at a young age. In 2020 I acquired my first collie and the rest is history!

Why did you start breeding?
Growing up, my aunt bred field-line Labrador Retrievers and I was her right-hand girl throughout each and every litter. As I grew older my love of dogs, dog sports, and breed conservation continued to grow!What makes your program special?

Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle and white, sable and white, blue merle white and tan, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Rory
Rory is my heart walking around outside of my chest. I adore her sweet temperament so much. Rory is a low/medium drive dog who loves to work for her people. She picks up new skills incredibly fast and her focus comes out when she’s working sheep, which is a new hobby for her! Rory is a true weekend warrior who is incredibly happy to laze about during the week and ready to do anything with you as soon as you get off of the couch. She is the cuddliest dog I’ve ever owned and would crawl into your skin if she could. Rory is a moderate dog that possesses a beautiful head with the classic collie expression. Her movement is beautiful and she floats across the ground with an effortless trot that she could maintain all day without tiring. She possesses a full coat that has the proper texture befitting a rough collie.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
