I'm Luis S., the breeder behind Finest cocker spaniel located in Corcoran, CA. Breeding isn’t just a hobby for me — it’s a way of life. I’m married with two children, and our dogs are raised as part of our family. Every puppy is nurtured in a loving home environment where they receive early socialization, playtime, and exposure to everyday household life.
Q. & A. with Luis
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding Cocker Spaniels out of a deep love and respect for the breed. What started as simply owning a Cocker quickly turned into something more. I was drawn to their gentle personalities, intelligence, and loyalty — and before long, I found myself wanting to learn everything I could about their health, genetics, and temperament. After years of raising dogs as part of my family.
What makes your program special?
Health and care are at the center of everything I do. My breeding dogs undergo thorough veterinary exams and health screenings to ensure they’re free of hereditary issues common in the breed. I also work closely with licensed veterinarians in Hanford, CA, and follow responsible breeding practices that prioritize the wellbeing of both the parents and the puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are buff. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
