I'm Kristen G., the breeder behind Fire Mountain Affenpinschers located in Julian, PA. Our breeding stock is screened for genetic defects as recommended by the Affenpinscher Club of America. Our focus is on intentional breeding from exceptional bloodlines so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard.
Q. & A. with Kristen
Why did you start breeding?
I quickly fell in love with the personality and spunky nature of the Affenpinscher. They're notoriously mischievous and very entertaining. I decided to start my program to preserve the qualities I found in my dogs. It is important to me that I not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines but that I improve this breed with each litter and ensure the well-being of these dogs for generations to come!
What makes your program special?
I am a professional breeder of high-quality Affenpinschers. I do not produce litter unless my parent dogs are fully healthy and excellent representations of the standard. My puppies are born in my home and experience the everyday noises a house brings. This ensures that they will thrive in their new homes and transition easily from my house to yours. I am dedicated to finding the best family for each of my puppies. I am passionate about what I do, and I look forward to connecting with you!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
