I'm Shelby H., the breeder behind FireHart Aussies located in Crestwood, KY. FireHart Aussies is a small, intentional program where our dogs are part of the family. Each pairing is thoughtfully planned with a focus on temperament, health, and sound minds. Our in-home raised puppies grow up surrounded by real life, building confidence and connection from the start.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After years of helping families raise well-balanced dogs, I wanted to create puppies who started life with the best possible foundation. FireHart Aussies grew from my passion for the breed and my belief that thoughtful breeding and early development can shape a dog’s entire future.

  • What makes your program special?

    FireHart puppies are raised with a trainer’s eye and heart. Each litter is carefully planned for temperament, health, and structure. Puppies experience early handling, exposure to new sights and sounds, and age-appropriate enrichment so they leave confident, stable, and ready for life with their families.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Shelby

Shelby has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, AKC registration, a health guarantee, early socialization, and lifetime breeder support. A $300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. Deposits officially hold a puppy for your family until pickup.”

Shelby may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
