Why did you start breeding?
It all started with my husband getting his labrador trained to retrieve the birds. This first dog being such a great dog, she eventually whelped a litter and had a lot of unexpected interest in her puppies. We later added another dog to our family and that is how the birth of Five Star Labradors came to be. Providing excellent 24/7 it starts with our dog moms with high quality food/homemade dog.What makes your program special?
They get 24/7 care from me and family. I am a dedicated dog mom to raise beautiful, healthy fur babies. Our puppies are all sent home with welcome home bags and information. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
