Meet the breeder

I'm Linda D., the breeder behind Flashbar Farm English Shepherds located in Swiss, MO. At Flashbar Farm English Shepherds, we love our typey English Shepherds. With the pairing of Bennet and Sidney began a legacy of truly wonderful dogs that we’re blessed to carry on in their offspring. The two created some very special souls that we feel are worth sharing. Flashbar ES are proven to be versatile and excel in anything traditional for ES, but also can do “the new stuff” like disc, agility, etc. A Flashbar grandpup is even in training for SAR! These are truly versatile dogs.

Flashbar Farm English Shepherds reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for English Shepherds.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel
