I'm Kristen F., the breeder behind FleuryDachs located in Martin City, MT. We are a Montana miniature Dachshund breeder neighboring Glacier National Park’s border. We breed and raise miniature Dachshunds. With breeding experience spanning several decades, a small business degree, and a passion for miniature Dachshunds, FleuryDachs is dedicated to raising well socialized, healthy puppies that will bring you a lifetime of love and happiness.

Why did you start breeding?
My parents bred Chesapeakes when I was a little girl and then Westies when I was in high school. Twenty years ago, I bred Siberian Huskies. I never imagined breeding again, but after finally being able to own my first Dachshund, I fell in love with the breed. It was at the encouragement from a breeder that I got into the breeding side of them.What makes your program special?
All of my dogs are a well-socialized part of my family. Puppies leave here with kennel training already started, litter trained, leash training begun, and clicker training to do a polite sit, make eye contact, ring a bell, and play the piano. I encourage all of my buyers to stay in touch and reach out if they have any questions providing them with a lifetime of support. I do test my dogs for optimal health and continue to work to improve my program as I learn more.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $750 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Program update on 16 Sept. •Litter box training is going well. We've graduated to the biggest boxes! Kennel training starts tomorrow. And clicker training is in full swing! These guys are on the small side- even the largest is under 2lbs at 5 weeks old. Smart and silly, they are ready to brighten your life!

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

FANTASTIC MINI DOXIE BREEDER! I’ve worked with Kristen twice in the past since 2021 and now currently for my third pup. She has always been very helpful, kind and knowledgeable from application day to puppy pickup day. She is professional and super friendly! I’ve enjoyed working with such an amazing breeder - she has definitely streamlined her waitlist process. I’ve been fortunate enough to never have to wait more than a month before knowing I’ve been offered a bundle of joy. Everything about Kristen and her process is so great - she includes weekly email pupdates after birth and even provides a live camera feed of your pup. The goodie bag she provides with your pup is so thoughtful and sweet - the custom blanket is always my favorite! I would 110% recommend her for your next mini dachshunds (yes, plural because one just isn’t enough)!
