Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda P., the breeder behind Flowertown Aussies located in Summerville, SC. Our dogs are bred with health and temperament as the main focus. We strive to provide prospective owners with healthy, well-socialized pets that will be perfect for their family. Each puppy is loved by our family of six from the day they are born until they leave our home to join yours.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first Australian Shepherd in 2022 and quickly fell in love. We became passionate about the breed and wanted to preserve it for generations to come. We wanted to be a small part of this preservation while giving families the opportunity to find the perfect Aussie for their family and lifestyle. We truly believe Australian Shepherds are the most wonderful dogs for families.
  • What makes your program special?

At Flowertown Aussies, we put our dogs and puppies first. Our first priority is good health, which is why we genetically test both parents. Puppies are seen by our vet for all newborn care. Next, we put socialization and training into each puppy. We are passionate about raising loving, well-socialized puppies for families. We believe in holding to the AKC standard for the breed to preserve it.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

It was an absolute joy working with Amanda! She communicated well and sent pics while my pup was waiting to come to my home. Rowan(Dash) was a healthy, well adjusted pup with an amazing temperament! Highly recommend her puppies. Went above and beyond to make the transition for Rowan as easy as possible. Highly recommend Flowertown Aussies!

Amanda was AMAZING! Not only did she send me pictures and videos of my baby as he grew, but she kept me up to date on his health and vet visits which gave me a huge peace of mind. Now I have the smartest, most perfect little nugget running around 🥹❤️

Amanda has been so sweet and amazing to work with.. we have had the best time from initial contact and throughout our puppy purchase process. It was also comforting to meet the puppy parents to see their loving personalities.
