I'm Chris/Shelby W., the breeder behind Flyin W Boykins located in Old Town, FL. Our goal is to produce a great representation of the Boykin Spaniel and to continue improving the line with each generation. We offer quality bred working dogs. We hand raise each of our puppies to ensure a reliable temperament and cherished companionship.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our primary focus is to produce dogs with strong hunting ability, solid temperaments, great health, and sound moderate structure. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of our pups to excel in life.
  • What makes your program special?

    We care about the Boykin Spaniel breed and do everything in our power to mate sound dogs to ensure healthy and happy puppies. Our puppies’ health and wellbeing is our main priority. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chris/Shelby

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Included in price is tail docking, dew claw removal. Age appropriate shots, worming, 8 week FL health certificate. BSS, UKC and AKC registration paperwork for puppies. Microchipped. $500 deposit required one week after whelping to hold puppy.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
