I'm Allison F., the breeder behind Flying F Australian Shepherds located in Santa Ysabel, CA. Our puppies are raised in a loving environment with children, adults, other dogs and critters around the ranch! All our puppies parents have been cleared on genetic testing, OFA hips/elbows/eyes, have had their first sets of vaccines & dewormings plus a microchip before going home.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband's Aunt (Aussie Breeder) gifted us our first Aussie, Tonka. In 2017, we introduced Critter girl into our lives. Critter was our first girl to have 3 gorgeous litters with us. These puppies have fabulous homes. Two of her pups stayed with us! We show our dogs in conformation and our boys compete in 4H dog events. These dogs are a part of the family and give us joy in our lives.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program focuses on a healthy and well-socialized puppy that is perfect for a family or active lifestyle. We also strive in correct conformation for structural soundness and integrity of the breed.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Our price reflects a 2 year health guarantee, AKC & ASCA litter registration and ownership transfer, first sets of vaccines & deworming, microchip and a current vet exam. We choose puppies at 8 weeks of age in order of deposits placed. The remainder of the puppy payment is due at pick up.”

About Indie
Indie is a female Australian Shepherd. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Allison decided to make her part of their program. Allison has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing
Excellent level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
