I'm Reonna M., the breeder behind Flying G Dachshund located in Wheatland, CA. Our dogs are bred for health, and temperament with the focus on conformation. We want to provide the best dogs in health, temperament, and conformation for our family pets.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding miniature dachshunds as I have always loved the breeds. I want to help improve the breed, a lot of people know say dachshunds are not family friendly breed so I wish to change that.
  • What makes your program special?

    Ours dogs are raised in house with our family, the puppies interact with my two very young kids along with another dog breeds, cats and another animals on our family ranch. Our dogs are first pets before anything else.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, black and cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes, the puppy guarantee, AKC registration, first round of vaccination, deworming, first veterinarian check up, to go home bag, and puppy socialization. All deposits are the same price regardless of color, sex or size of the puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Reonna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
