Meet the breeder

I'm Cassie G., the breeder behind Flying Note Shorties located in Casper, WY. My passion is my dogs. I love each and every one of them as if they were one of my children. They go on rides to get treats, hiking on our property, and lounging around. Currently we offer standard coat and fluffy coat corgis including colors of tris, bluies, mismarks, and CKC merles.

Q. & A. with Cassie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I love my dogs so much, and by breeding my corgis I am able to create a perfect little puppy for someone to love as much as I do! Talking with families from the very beginning is one of my favorite parts! They send me photos of their puppies new collar they will have, or tell me about names they are picking out. It definitely is a special bond that is formed.
  • What makes your program special?

My corgis are my family. I am essentially kennel free. Living on the ranch, they have a wide large area (that is fenced for saftey) that is 100% theirs. They can run and play and still live a life of being a dog. We go on hikes all the time when the weather allows for it. This constant human interaction, and bonds last a lifetime! Mama dogs allow me to handle their puppies from day one!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies include blue merle and white and black and white. American Corgi puppies include black and white and blue merle and white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, white and black, white and red, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Cassie was great to work with! Was very responsive the very first day we messaged her. Kept me updated and sent lots of pictures and videos. We have now had our puppy, Rory, for almost two weeks and she is fitting right in! She potty trained so quickly, and has the cutest personality! We just love her!

We are so blessed to have connected with Cassie at Flying Note Shorties Little Jack has filled an enormous hole in our hearts and we are in love. Cassie was thoughtful and responsive to our questions and Jack was clearly well loved prior to joining our home. The puppy bag Cassie put together included a little blanket which helped Jack feel safe on the drive home. We love our little Jack and are grateful for Cassie and the caring home she creates for these beautiful pups.

Cassie stayed in touch and sent us regular updates and pictures of our puppy as he grew! She was thoughtful enough to offer to meet closer to where we live as she was going to be traveling that way. Scout has quickly become a member or our family and we are so grateful to Cassie for the care she showed him!

Cassie was excellent to work with and the adoption was so smooth! We love our boy cooper, he’s the sweetest! He’s already making himself at home and we can’t wait to see how is personality grows more. Definitely recommend flying note shorties to anybody looking for a corgi to add to their family (:
