I'm Cassie G., the breeder behind Flying Note Shorties located in Casper, WY. My passion is my dogs. I love each and every one of them as if they were one of my children. They go on rides to get treats, hiking on our property, and lounging around. Currently we offer standard coat and fluffy coat corgis including colors of tris, bluies, mismarks, and CKC merles.
Q. & A. with Cassie
Why did you start breeding?
I love my dogs so much, and by breeding my corgis I am able to create a perfect little puppy for someone to love as much as I do! Talking with families from the very beginning is one of my favorite parts! They send me photos of their puppies new collar they will have, or tell me about names they are picking out. It definitely is a special bond that is formed.
What makes your program special?
My corgis are my family. I am essentially kennel free. Living on the ranch, they have a wide large area (that is fenced for saftey) that is 100% theirs. They can run and play and still live a life of being a dog. We go on hikes all the time when the weather allows for it. This constant human interaction, and bonds last a lifetime! Mama dogs allow me to handle their puppies from day one!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppies include blue merle and white and black and white. American Corgi puppies include black and white and blue merle and white. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, white and black, white and red, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Cassie was excellent to work with and the adoption was so smooth! We love our boy cooper, he’s the sweetest! He’s already making himself at home and we can’t wait to see how is personality grows more. Definitely recommend flying note shorties to anybody looking for a corgi to add to their family (:

We brought Edith home just a week ago and it’s been so fun! She’s such a sweet girl and too smart, already learned to sit and is close to no more accidents. Cassie has been great through the whole process. Responsive, knowledgeable, very kind and understanding. We can’t wait to watch Edith continue to learn and grow. It’s been such a blast getting to see her personality shine as she’s settling in.

Amazing Experience!
I had a fantastic experience with Cassie! She kept me updated with photos of Ivy and made the whole process smooth, even providing a thoughtful care package when I picked her up. It’s clear she truly cares about her puppies. Ivy is happy, healthy, and gets along with our kitties—everything I could’ve hoped for. Highly recommend Cassie to anyone looking for a responsible, caring breeder!

Cassie was outstanding through the entire process using Good Dog. We have never attempted to coordinate pet adoption through a service, but the whole experience was made easy and comfortable with their support. Cassie, running Flying Note Shorties breeding, showed true care and clarity as we discovered a wonderful match to Grem (2 year old male corgi). While he had several stories of adversity, both physical and emotional, we felt there was more than enough thoroughly explained and told honestly to continue the pursuit to bring Grem to his new forever home. Thank you to Cassie for going out of her way, family in tow, business on hold just to meet us for a coordinated delivery of Grem. Highly recommended Cassie and her business to those seeking breeding or adoption services.
