I'm Karen F., the breeder behind Foley Dachshunds located in Humble, TX. I raise miniature dachshund puppies in my home, with daily handling, early neurological stimulation, and socialization. Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Karen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“I start matching puppies at about 8 weeks, once their personalities are clear. I spend time observing each puppy’s temperament, play style, and comfort level with new experiences. This allows me to guide families toward the puppy that will fit them best, ensuring a happy lifelong match.”

“My pricing includes a genetic health guarantee, age‑appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, AKC registration, and early socialization with kids, cats, and dogs. A deposit holds your spot for a puppy and helps us plan the best match for your family. While non‑refundable, it can be transferred to another available puppy or future litter.”
Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Karen offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Karen directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

Puppies have been moved into the living room where they are now completely self sufficient and eating dry kibble as well as learning important socialization skills. Being exposed to more of the sounds of the household. Potty training is going well. Some are using the litter box. Those that aren’t are hitting the pee pad. Very happy with these puppies and their progress.

Happy Easter from Foley Dachshunds!

Caught puppy nap time and they are all laying on their beds. They are completely eating kibble now and turn 6 weeks tomorrow. They are right on track. Some of the most quiet and laid back puppies I have had.

About Bluey
Bluey is a real spitfire! She is courageous and daring. She will be protecting the house from intruders one minute and on her back letting me hold her like a baby the next. I expect that she will produce puppies with amazing temperaments. She has reached Grand Champion status with the AKC and is a great testament to what a Dachshund should be. I am proud that she is my first dog bred in my kennel and is carrying the Foley Dachshunds name.

Karen has been wonderful throughout this whole process. She was very patient with all my questions and made everything easy and comfortable. Even after I brought my puppy home, she continued to help and answer anything I needed. My dog, Happy (now Chai), has the best temperament and is such a joy. I’m so happy with my experience and highly recommend Karen!

Karen's an awesome breeder! She really does her homework to be an ethical breeder to provide such wonderful puppies. Harlow (formerly Ross) is such a sweet, smart and playful boy! He already knew where to go for potty as Karen already started all pups on training. He's very social, and such a cutie. I'd definitely recommend her if anyone is looking for a dachshund. 🤍

Mrs. Foley is an exceptional breeder! She truly cared for my Winston and made sure he was well cared for/healthy. She provided me with my sweet lil' buddy who loves being my lil' shadow! He likes to snuggle and give smooches. His zoomies always bring a smile to my face. He is a very vocal lil' guy and he fits in perfectly with us. She checks in on him still and I really appreciate it. I love my Winston and can proudly say that I would be happy to update her on him throughout his adventures and reccommend her to anyone looking for a new lil' furbaby. ❤️🐾

Very happy and healthy pup. My vet was impressed with the medical records and care our baby had received before we adopted her.
