  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding began with a deep love for Yorkshire Terriers over 20 years ago. What started as a passion for the breed grew into a commitment to preserving its health, temperament, and beauty. Today, I responsibly raise a small number of family-raised Yorkies, focusing on quality care, socialization, and helping families find lifelong companions.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our breeding program special is our commitment to quality over quantity. We raise one carefully planned litter each year in our family home, where puppies are surrounded by everyday household activities, love, and socialization. This family environment helps make the transition to their new homes easier while promoting healthy, confident, and well-adjusted companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tan and white, liver, gold, chocolate, tan and white, chocolate and tan, parti, tan, black and tan, blue and gold, and black and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Solomon

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Solomon partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppy prices vary based on factors such as sex, size and coat color. The price includes first round vaccinations, deworming and socialization. A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. The deposit will be applied toward the total purchase price and ensures that the puppy is held exclusively for you.”

Solomon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
