I'm Emily H., the breeder behind Ford Canyon Aussidoodles located in Kaysville, UT. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.
Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with Aussiedoodles years ago when I was looking for good therapy/emotional support dogs. At the time it was hard to find reputable breeders. I felt Aussiedoodles deserved careful breeding. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
What makes your program special?
We are a small family affair. Our dogs are part of our family and spend their lives in our homes. We only breed healthy dogs who have wonderful temperaments. Our puppies spend their first weeks in my bedroom and then play with my six children and other animals. We do everything we can to prepare them for their forever homes physically, socially, and emotionally.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, black phantom, black and white, and red phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Penny, mom
Aussiedoodle
About Penny
Penny is a calm sweet girl who enjoys the little luxuries in life, but that doesn’t mean things have to be boring. She specializes in playful bursts of spontaneity and has a knack for making up games. She loves to ambush - or snuggle her cats just to keep it interesting. She never walks down stairs when she can leap over them, if there was a doggie long jump she would win ribbons!
Buddy, dad
Aussiedoodle
About Buddy
Buddy loves hiking, swimming, agility, and especially a game of fetch, but he equally enjoys a good snuggle! He makes it his job to see that everyone in our home is all right. If someone is sick he will only leave their room to eat and do his business. If we have to put one of our kids in time-out you can bet he will be sitting right next to them. His Aussie herding nature comes out when hiking off leash, as he runs back and forth between the slow and fast groups keeping tabs on everyone.
