I'm Rachel G., the breeder behind ForeversEdge Doxies located in Lincoln, CA. Hi! We are extremely proud of our program and are always learning more and changing things as we go so that we can do the best for our dogs and puppies. Our dogs are our family members first and breeding dogs second.
No-Refund Return Policy (Outside of Health-Related Reasons)
For our program, the health and well-being of our puppies is our highest priority. For this reason, refunds are only issued in cases where a licensed veterinarian confirms a genetic or congenital health condition covered under our health guarantee.
For all other circumstances, we do not provide refunds for the return or surrender of a puppy.
Non -health-related reasons—such as changes in personal circumstances, unmet expectations, scheduling issues, or realizing the timing is not ideal—the following applies:
• No refund or reimbursement will be issued, in full or in part.
• Returning a puppy requires extensive time, care, and resources, including quarantine, re-examination by a veterinarian, behavioral evaluation, and re-homing efforts.
• These steps are essential to ensure the puppy’s safety and well-being, and they incur significant costs and lost opportunities for both the puppy and the litter placement process.
We understand that sometimes families discover that bringing home a puppy is not the right fit for their current situation. We appreciate when an owner prioritizes the puppy’s best interest and chooses to surrender the puppy back to us. However, in these situations, the no-refund policy still applies. By adopting one of our puppies, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Q. & A. with Rachel
Why did you start breeding?
Every time clients brought in Dachshunds to the vet or a Dachshund came to the shelter they had to be muzzled. I also visited a dog show with my kids and the breeders told me their Doxies weren’t kid friendly. It took one sweet Doxie to steal my heart. Thus, I decided that this was my breed and I wanted to make a difference. Especially where I saw the worst issue which was in temperament.
What makes your program special?
Each and every puppy is loved on unconditionally, exposed to a loud crazy home environment, and treated as an individual not a litter. In order to set them up for the best success we spend every day helping them to adapt to all types of situations. We do not breed dogs who display features that we personally couldn’t live with, even if they have stellar conformation. The whole dog matters!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Shark is the BEST dog in the world. We are so in love with him. He is healthy, happy, and has adjusted perfectly. The fact he came comfortable with his crate and puppy pad made the transition even easier. Any future doxies we get will only be from Crystal! Thank you for giving us the best pup we could have ever dreamed of.
