Kailey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Kailey partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“I don’t have anyone choose their puppy until they come to pick up at 8 weeks, that way they can choose based on temperament and not just color/markings in pics at a few days old. Therefore I cannot say which individual puppies are actually available until after 8 weeks. ”

“This price includes health guarantee, full ABCA registration(if applicable), vaccines, deworming, microchip, puppy starter pack, and lifetime breeder support. If there aren’t enough pups in the litter to fill deposits, buyer will be refunded or can move deposit to future litter.”
Kailey may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Kailey offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Kailey directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Kailey.

Border Collie
About Fiona
Fiona’s favorite thing to do is play and walk around with a toy in her mouth. She likes to "talk" so don't be alarmed if she comes up to you growling when you meet her-especially if she has a toy in her mouth she just has to growl for joy that someone came to see her! :D High toy and food drive, loves to train and learn, Fiona is very handler focused when working but can be very independent and entertain herself well when not working-not an in-your-face dog like her sire. She is stable and confident, environment and dog neutral, still working a bit on her people distraction out in public-but that's a good problem to have! I take Fiona with me almost everywhere I go, and she takes it all in a stride. *Fiona would much rather be a career woman instead of a mother and has failed to get pregnant on 4 consecutive breedings. I will likely only try one more time before deciding to “retire” her.

About Prada
Prada is a lovely tempered young dog who is proving to be an excellent introduction for my foray into the "colored" dogs. Not a big fan of merles myself, I nevertheless couldn't resist this pretty pup when I began looking for a OS full panel clear female to add to my pack. She is a very social towards people and other dogs and just an all around even tempered dog. She also has excellent toy drive which makes her very fun to train. Prada is a softer natured dog and not as stubborn as some of my other dogs can be.
Border Collie
About Molly
Molly is a large, rough coated female. She is extremely sweet and trusting, and very agile and quick. She loves to play ball, play with the other dogs, and round up the sheep.

About Teal
Teal is a wonderful, stable, friendly dog. She seems to genuinely have a sense of humor and her antics and expressions are always making me laugh! Teal is medium drive with an excellent off switch. She carries dilute so could produce blue/slate and lilac puppies if bred to a male who also carries dilute.

About Jinger
Jinger is a fiery little rocket. She is higher energy but has a good off switch. Everybody is Jinger's friend, and she's never known a stranger! Though just a happy-go-lucky dog in general, she's all business when working, shows no fear with livestock, and doesn't back down. So far, she is truly everything I'm looking for in a dog. A confident, lovable, playful pet, and a working machine at the flip of a switch.

About Pip
Pip is a very gentle natured dog. She can be sporty and loves to play but is also very laid back for a BC. She loves everybody and everything.
Border Collie
About Clark
Clark is by far the best dog in my kennel, at this time. A loving, cuddle bug who gets along with all the other dogs as well, he is also a super stylish and quick, powerful worker. Truly my favorite dog to work! He can go from working cattle one minute, to gently cleaning a new lamb or kid the next-he has the biggest, sweetest heart.

Forthright Farms reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Border Collies.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Lumbosacral Transitional Vertebra (LTV), Shoulder Osteochondrosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Optimal Selection Canine Genetic Breeding Analysis, Early Adult Onset Deafness (EAOD), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

It was great working with Kailey to get our sweet puppy. She was quick to get back to us, and communicated frequently as needed as we worked on the details. When she learned of our distance, she met us part way for delivery. An overall great experience working with her.

Kailey was great to work with. She answered all my questions speedily, recommended things I agree with, made easy work of shipping my puppy from Washington state to Alaska, and followed through with advice and more answers. And I love my pup Tonsina.

Kailey was great to work with! She answered all our questions and made sure that, as first time Border Collie owners, we understood and were prepared for their breed specific needs. Kailey puts much care and effort into the planning of her litters and in their upbringing, making sure that they are raised in a clean environment and introduced to a variety of stimuli. We love our Archer so much!

Kailey was great to work with! She does a great job with making sure people understand the breed before making a commitment. She did her best to make sure we were matched with the right pup for our lifestyle. We loved the weekly updates she sent so we could watch the litter grow and see their personalities develop. Picking up our pup was super smooth and easy! Our puppy transitioned in to her new life nice and smooth, thanks in large part to the experiences the puppies got on the farm with Kailey before they went home!

Amazing breeder. Kailey knows what she is doing and is passionate. Smooth adoption process. We were able to take home the puppy the day we intended.
