I'm Amy B., the breeder behind Foster Lake Frenchies located in Sweet Home, OR. We are a small in home breeder dedicated to raising healthy, happy, loved French Bulldogs. We carefully select parents for health, structure & temperament to produce well-rounded dogs that thrive as family companions. Every puppy is raised as a part of our family before becoming a part of yours.

Why did you start breeding?
Our journey into breeding began with a genuine love for French Bulldogs and everything that makes them such incredible companions. We started Foster Lake Frenchies with a goal of raising healthy, socialized puppies that would bring years of happiness to their families. We wanted to provide companions that live life alongside their families as partners, hiking, vacations, and children's sports.What makes your program special?
At Foster Lake Frenchie's, we raise our puppies and adults in our home as part of our family, where they receive daily love, socialization, and early exposure to everyday sights and sounds. We believe these early experiences help build confident, affectionate puppies that transition smoothly into their new homes. Our program is built on quality, health, and heart.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, blue fawn, tricolors, brindle and white, blue, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Amy
Amy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“Price depending on registration type, limited AKC vs Full AKC. Please contact us when we have a puppy available for more information. Deposit to hold your puppy is non-refundable. We only accept deposit AFTER screening and application process. If we cancel the sale of the puppy this is the only time a deposit will be refunded.”

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Tracheal Hypoplasia, Spine (OFA, FCI)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
