I'm Kim F., the breeder behind Foster’s Dachshunds located in Humphreys, MO. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have always had a dachshund. About 5 years ago, I decided to breed dachshunds as a hobby because I love them so much.

  • What makes your program special?

    We love our dogs and puppies, and they are a focused part of our family. When your puppy comes to you, he or she is ready to be loved because they have been so loved here.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kim

Kim has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes current vaccinations, wormed, pedigree, registration, health guarantee, veterinary checkup. I like to send a sample of our dog food and a puppy blanket. Non-Refundable Deposit Statement (BY SUBMITTING A DEPOSIT IT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT I HAVE READ AND AGREED UPON THIS STATEMENT). Breed: Dachshund This is to confirm that a deposit of $500.00 has been received to reserve a Dachshund puppy. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. This means that if the buyer decides not to complete the purchase for any reason—such as a change of mind, personal circumstances, or inability to proceed—the deposit will not be returned. The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the puppy. The remaining balance is due prior to the puppy's scheduled pickup or delivery. Puppy pickup or delivery will be coordinated through a licensed transportation company (transportation is an additional cost) agreed upon by both the buyer and seller. Puppy selection will occur in the order that deposits are received. By submitting the deposit, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to the terms stated above.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kim may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
