I'm Celsie P., the breeder behind Fowl Mouth Labradors & Saint Bernards located in Springfield, Mn, MN. We breed to provide families with loving and capable companions, and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation for Show quality or field work Labs & Saints. Our Saints have the best temperament and embody the power and proportional body type that every Saint should have.

Why did you start breeding?
My parents bred Miniature Schnauzers for 18 years. I was also involved in breed show Pigeons and Poultry. I have a passion for genetics and reproduction. I went to college for Bio Chemistry and and Plant Genetics with my minor in Animal Biology and Reproduction.
What makes your program special?
We have 1-2 litters a year and focus on bringing up dogs that transition easily into any home, whether it be pet, show or work. We raise them in our home and work daily with the parents and litters.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Celsie

Celsie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Celsie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We start by assessing the families wants and needs and see if it will best fit our puppies that we have available. We like to include the family in the picking process, but show homes have priority for breeding purposes. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes the purchase of the puppy with current vaccines, vet exam and AKC registration. Breeding rights/show homes are extra, tax is included. Lab puppies are 2k with limited registration, Saint puppies are 3k with limited registration. These are pet home prices.”

Contract & health guarantee

Celsie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Byrdie
Byrdie is an up and coming female that will be bred to Bruno. She is a rough coat (long hair) St. Bernard from Carpathian Saint's Kennel in Ukraine. She is beautifully built, with wonderful front shoulder layout and rear. She is strong and stands at 30" at the withers. She will be a wonderful addition to the breeding program. She is soft tempered and sweet. Loves to cuddle and of course playing with her "siblings." She earned her CH title at just 10 months old and her GCH title at 15 months old. She is a Canadian CH and BOSS winner.

About Bruno
Bruno is the epitome of what a "gentle giant" should look like. His personality is the calmest and sweetest with an incredibly gentle touch. Despite his size, he is very good with smaller dogs. He lays down to play with them and is very cautious when stepping. He is calm, laid back and a snuggle bug at heart. He stands at 31.5" to the withers and was imported from Poland. His breeder is Nina Krowinski and is the grandchild of GCHP CH Elba's Aristo Presto respectfully. Bruno is well on his way to his Grand Champion Bronze title and will continue to be shown throughout his life. Bruno was awarded his International and National titles in 2023 through the IABCA and went from Champion to Grand Champion in a matter of months within the AKC. We have high hopes for Bruno and can't wait to see him succeed

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation , Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
