I'm Matthew a., the breeder behind Free State Collies located in Arley, AL. Our puppies are raised in a homestead environment and are accustomed to a variety of sounds, smells, people, and animals throughout the time they are with us. We do our best to prepare these little puppers for whatever lies ahead.

Why did you start breeding?
We knew people who were in the breeding business and we had a special love for collies.What makes your program special?
our puppies come with full AKC registration as standard. without this, any offspring produced by the puppy later in life will not be eligible for AKC registration. if requested by the owner, we can begin introducing a requested animal or a new activity that will help the pup better acclimate to its new home. chickens, cats ect.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and white, sable, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Matthew
Matthew has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and $550 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“there is a fixed price for all puppies. to reserve a puppy, there is a $100 deposit that would go toward the total amount, making the total at pickup $550. all deposits are the same amount, regardless of what puppy.”
Contract & health guarantee
Matthew may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
