Jack F.

Breeder of Border Collies

Meet the breeder

I'm Jack F., the breeder behind Frozen Border Collies located in Hulmeville, PA. I'm a home-based breeder of exceptional performance Border Collies. They are bred for speed, performance and family life. I love for my puppies to go to active homes who are interested in competing in dog sports. My Border Collies are dual registered with ABCA and AKC and are amazing representations of the breed. We compete in Flyball, Fast Cat, Cat, Agility, Frisbee and Dock Diving. My breeding Border Collies have been genetically and OFA tested for hips, elbows and eyes. They have also been tested for herding instinct. I encourage my buyers to participate in sports!

Q. & A. with Jack

  • Why did you start breeding?

I used to breed Chows, but have since moved my focus to my Border Collie program. I breed to produce exceptional performance dogs with a focus on speed, structure, movement, and size. It is important to me not only that I preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!
  • What makes your program special?

I built my program with care and intention in every step. I am passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and I want my program to be an example of how to responsibly breed high-quality, healthy dogs that also have amazing show potential. I love to carefully plan each litter to see what I can produce speed-wise. Once a litter is on the ground, I hand-raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability! It has been such a fulfilling journey.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
