Meet the breeder

I'm Chrissy B., the breeder behind Frozen Nort Aussies located in Duluth, MN. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

Q. & A. with Chrissy

  • Why did you start breeding?

Over a decade ago, I adopted a 2 year old Aussie who became the most loyal friend a girl could have. He is now 13+ and can still be found at my side. I have such respect and love for Australian Shepherds, and my goal is to be an ethical and thoughtful caretaker of the breed. Aussies are funny, smart, and versatile. They bond so deeply and absolutely love their people.
  • What makes your program special?

I feel very responsible for all animals in my care, and I also feel responsible for doing my best to make a match that is good for all involved. We strive to do all we can to produce healthy, well-adjusted, and all-around great representations of the breed. Our pups are raised in our home with our family, and we are excited to share the joy of Aussies with our pups' new families, too. :)
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Chrissy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I had questions, and making sure I was informed about aussies. I really appreciate how she took the time to make sure she knew the pup was going to a good home. She was very responsive and easy to work with. We were very happy with the entire process, and would recommend anyone to work with the Fozen Nort.
