I'm Chrissy B., the breeder behind Frozen Nort Aussies located in Duluth, MN. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

Why did you start breeding?
Over a decade ago, I adopted a 2 year old Aussie who became the most loyal friend a girl could have. He is now 14+ and can still be found at my side. I have such respect and love for Australian Shepherds, and my goal is to be an ethical and thoughtful caretaker of the breed. Aussies are funny, smart, and versatile. They bond so deeply and absolutely love their people.What makes your program special?
I feel very responsible for all animals in my care, and I also feel responsible for doing my best to make a match that is good for all involved. We strive to do all we can to produce healthy, well-adjusted, and all-around great representations of the breed. Our pups are raised in our home with our family, and we are excited to share the joy of Aussies with our pups' new families, too. :)What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 29 Oct 2025 •…* 4 weeks old!* the crew have started sampling some mush, learning to lap water, and learning the early start of potty training. Waitlist members will start choosing their pups mid-November. It is most likely that all pups will be placed via the waitlist, but reach out if you have questions about this or upcoming litters. About Tinker
Our gal Tinker is a curious, smart, and people-oriented dog. She is a low/medium energy pup with a low to medium prey drive. She can entertain herself very well with a chew toy- preferably in sight of her favorite person so she can come over for a pet or hug when she wants. She does well with cats, loves learning tricks, and she is an excellent, attentive mother. Tinker is an AKC registered / ASCA eligible/pending black tri.

Hank is a stunning, sweet split-face red Merle who will just melt your heart. His temperament is outstanding, easygoing and ready to play. He likes to sneak a toy or ball on your lap and will wait patiently until you notice and throw it for him. He is a medium energy dog with a medium to low prey drive. Hank is an AKC registered / ASCA eligible/pending red Merle.

Jolene is athletic, super smart, and is always up to something. She is a medium-high energy dog with a medium/high prey drive. Jolene is an AKC registered / ASCA eligible/pending red tri.
