Meet the breeder

I'm Lilia J., the breeder behind Fásach Stockdogs located in Dewey, AZ. We're a preservation breeder of quality Border Collies in Northern Arizona. We breed for a strong working instinct and all-round versatility. Our dogs are titled and compete in several events - Herding, Conformation, Obedience, Rally and Agility.

Q. & A. with Lilia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I've always loved matching people to that special dog that would make impact in their life. I saw a need for well-bred dogs that would live a long healthy life and would fit the person's lifestyle. I'm a 4th generation farmer and didn't own border collies but I'd been around them since I was a child. I loved the partnership, loyalty and working relationship that they had with their people.
  • What makes your program special?

My program stays true to the border collie standard. Our dogs are bred to have strong working instinct and be all-round versatile companion and beloved family member. My goal is to produce healthy and solid temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, and intelligence.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
