Why did you start breeding?
When I trained my first Lab, my love for the breed took off. I knew I wanted to breed wonderful family companions that were versatile and dependable.What makes your program special?
We are built on purpose, not just puppies. That means we are a purpose driven program, not a high-volume kennel. Each litter is thoughtfully planned, and every puppy receives individualized care and attention.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Amanda
Amanda has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Amanda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price
"2 yr Health Guarantee, vet exam, first shot, 4 rounds of wormer, microchip, and state required taxes. $500 deposit goes towards the final amount of the pup. It is not an extra cost. It guarantees you a pup."

Willow is gentle natured and loves snuggles. Her favorite spot is the couch. She enjoys going just about everywhere and will do nearly anything you point her towards and ask of her. Has a wonderful off switch but ready and willing to jump right up and go do anything. She really is the perfect dog.

About Steel
Steel is a big goofball. He is the sire to our current Dam "Willow". What he lacks in brain cells he makes up for in love and wonderful super smart puppies. We couldn't imagine life without this goober. He came to live with us in 2021 when he was a year and a half old. He was rehomed due to emergency life threatening family situation. I had the opportunity to buy him back at a later date and didn't hesitate because I regretted ever having to do that. Recently he went to reside with my mom when she lost her old dog because she needed company. She loves him to pieces and he is incredibly happy with her. Honestly I think he secretly has always loved my mother more than me.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Dominant Black DNA Test, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Copper Toxicosis, Labrador Retriever Type, Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
