Connie B.

Breeder of Newfoundlands

Meet the breeder

I'm Connie B., the breeder behind Furball Acres located in Johnston, SC. I strive to selectively produce Newfoundland's chosen for temperament, health, conformation, type, and longevity. All of my dogs are AKC Registered and OFA health tested for hips, elbows, patella's, cystinuria, and have hearts cleared via echocardiogram by a board-certified Cardiologist. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs!

Q. & A. with Connie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Newfoundland's are my passion and my love, and it is my hope that I can contribute to the future of this magnificent breed by breeding responsibly. Their future depends on preservation breeders!
  • What makes your program special?

My pups are bred from only health-tested parents and are exposed to age-appropriate stimulation from birth. I make sure each puppy gets the proper individual care and group interactions needed to ensure a well-adjusted start to life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
