I'm Kevin and Kathy J., the breeder behind Furever Hometown Shih Tzu located in Benton, KY. Our dogs are an intricate part of our lives. We raise them as a cohesive part of our family from day one to ensure that they’ll make the best and most versatile companions to your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I decided to breed after owning 3 shih tzu pups and seen how awesome this breed is. That's why I wanted to share my experience and blessings with other owners that is looking for a great companion in their lives. They are wonderful friends and they love everyone and everything especially kids and other pets. They never meet a stranger.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed with love and research alot before deciding which dogs to breed and how and when. My program is special because we put so much into it. We make sure all of the dams and sires are healthy and happy before we start the breeding process and take alot of pride in the outcome which is our pups. We want all of our pups to be loved most of all and be healthy and happy and want them to transition to their new homes as easily as possible.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable and white, tricolor, sable, black and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“AKC Registration, puppy socialization skills, backpacks, starter food, blanket with scent of mom and siblings and collar and toys. Pm me or call. Deposit required in the amount of $200.”
