I'm Brooke and Isaiah K., the breeder behind Furry Friends Kennel located in Mountain Home, AR. I am a dedicated miniature dachshund breeder who finds joy in preserving the breed through responsible, genetics-focused breeding. I carefully select pairings to promote health, temperament, and structure, striving to produce happy, healthy puppies for loving homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding by following in my friend’s footsteps, inspired by their passion and dedication to bettering the breed. What started as learning quickly became a commitment to responsible breeding, with a focus on improving health, structure, and temperament.What makes your program special?
I focus mainly on health. Temperament is second. My goal is to produce happy and healthy puppies. None of my pet only puppies go home with registration papers. Breeding rights are approved on a case by case basis.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Brooke and Isaiah partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“My prices depend on coat type and color. This deposit is to hold the puppy of your choice. This deposit is Non refundable. All payments must be made prior to the scheduled pickup.”

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Isaiah met us in Springfield MO to pick Murphy up which was a perfect meeting place for both of us I think. Murphy is settling in to his new forever home very nicely.
