Meet the breeder

I'm Gwendolyn F., the breeder behind FurryTails Shih-tzu located in Searcy, AR. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Shih Tzus into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions. They are socialized daily and learn to drink from water bottles and use doggy doors / potty pads, and all get crate trained. We are very particular where our puppies get rehomed.

  • Why did you start breeding?

Once we had Maggie, we only wanted a couple of litters. After assisting with her deliveries and the bringing of new lives into the world, we were hooked! I am very passionate about this breed and would choose no other.
  • What makes your program special?

We take pride in knowing our babies are placed with the best families possible. They will come to you pre-spoiled, full of love.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, liver, blue, gold, red, brindle and white, liver and white, gold and white, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
