I'm Jason/ Virginia C., the breeder behind G & J Shih Tzu located in Eastanollee, GA. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with the shih tzu breed. We found you could not have just one lol. We were and still very select on puppies and dogs we buy we look to inhance the breed NOT hinder it. We have only 3-4 litters a year.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs as we are very selective in what dogs we introduce in our breeding program our goal is to inhance the breed.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include liver, gold, and blue and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jason/ Virginia

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jason/ Virginia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Standard black nosed puppy 1200 Liver nose puppy 1500 Blues or lavender 2000. Deposit is non refunded UNLESS something happens to your selected puppy.”

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    The 10 week old Shih Tzu we received from Jason is a fabulous puppy. It is obvious she was well taken care of both physically and behaviorally. She’s lively and happy and seems to be growing well. As a breeder, Jason was extremely responsive to all our questions and sent pictures and videos every week as we waited to pick her up from his home. We’ve had a Shih Tzu before and other dogs but never dealt directly with the breeder. This was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend Jason.

    i want to say that is the sweetest man and the dog has been our joy he has put smiles on both my husband and i even chaka our other dog they play love and sleep so great she has had only one or two accidents , vet said that was great to be so so young i love her thank you for everything justin you brought our family so much joy and those green eyes are priceless
