I'm Alix G., the breeder behind Gable's Homegrown Pawprints located in North Manchester, IN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members for each client. We do genetic testing, OFA hips, elbows and heart testing on each dog. We do our best to better the breed. My family pours a lot of love into each dog/puppy.

Why did you start breeding?
I was lucky to grow up around dogs working at a dog kennel. When I started thinking about breeding I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of breeders who were willing to share with me. I found mentors that helped if I had questions and found a wonderful vet that helps me keep my dogs as healthy as possible. I to this day never stop learning and sharing my expierences with others.What makes your program special?
All my dogs are genetic health tested and my Newfies have OFA heart, hips and elbows done before breeding is even considered. Each one of my dogs is a part of our family. Healthy well mannered dogs is what I strive to produce. Gables Homegrown Pawprints is truly an extension of our family. When you get a puppy from us you are joining our family I'm always just a call away. All glory to God.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Alix
Alix has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Alix partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We do our best to evaluate each of our puppies to place them in a home by themselves or with another dog. I also try to fit each puppy with the approved family's. ”
Price
“Puppies are $2,500.00 each and 500.00 deposit to hold puppy so $2000.00 is due at the time of pick up. Deposit is transferable to another puppy but not refundable.”

About Biggie
Biggie is our import from Poland and he is a big gentile giant. He loves the kids and all of our farm animals. He loves going on walks and car rides. He is such a good boy and loves all people. He is the absolute biggest baby and loves belly rubs and is still very much a big puppy. He has all his OFA clearances prelim hips-good elbows-normal heart-normal complete genetic testing done and clear.

About Olive Grace
Olive Grace is as sweet as they come. She is nanna to my kiddos and will follow us everywhere. Loves going in the car and loves going to the vet anywhere really. She adores her barn kitty's and enjoys a good chase occasionally. She will do just about anything for an ice cube. She is spoiled rotten and if you don't say her middle name when you call her she doesn't hear you. She has been such a good mama so far to her 7 beautiful puppies. She is OFA hips-excellent, elbows -normal heart-normal and passed her genetic testing with flying colors. We are so lucky she's ours.

About Pebbles
Mama Pebbles is a 5 year old sweet as pie Newfoundland. She has had all of her genetic testing. Her OFA scores are hips excellent, elbows normal, and heart normal. Pebbles has a great temperament and is a little shy at first then is your best friend. She absolutely adores my three children and follows them everywhere if her mama (me) isn't around that. We have 5 beautiful puppies from this pairing.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Cystinuria Type 1A, Newfoundland Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
