I'm Lauren P., the breeder behind Garage Door Kennels located in Tennessee. Our small kennel is nestled on our little piece of property of a little over an acre with plenty of room for all of our dogs to run and play. We converted our garage into a small oasis kennel complete with artificial turf, AC and Heat, and cozy brick like accents on the walls.
We love Dachshunds and German Shepherds. I grew up with German Shepherds and I got my first dachshund almost 15 years ago when I graduated high school. After that we immediately fell in love with the breed. Our dogs are our family and are very near to our hearts.
All of our dogs are health and genetic tested before breeding as we strive to breed quality dogs to live long, healthy, and happy lives. All of our pups are raised inside and are handled from birth. They are socializing a lot with other dogs and people during their first 8 weeks of life to ensure an easy transition into their new homes. All puppies go to their new homes at 8 weeks with their first set of shots, dewormer, and a health guarantee.
