I'm Misty D., the breeder behind Gempoms located in Fort Collins, CO. We offer OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and genetically tested healthy AKC QUALITY and ethically small scale bred Pomeranians brought in from around the world and raised in our home. We are involved in the show world and are committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for breed standard. These dogs are sold as PETS only, no breeding.

Our love for Pomeranians inspired us to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. As competitors in the show ring, we breed to not only continue our phenomenal lines, but to ensure that the Pomeranian breed can continue to be enjoyed for generations to come with its best qualities.What makes your program special?
Our program is unique because all of our dogs are hand-raised, socialized, and overly-loved by us! We prioritize having our breeding dogs OFA and genetically tested prior to breeding to ensure we are producing quality puppies. We work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the Pomeranian line. Misty has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

“Deposit it $500 to hold a puppy. It is $0 to inquire and ask any questions about puppies and if they would be a good fit. It is rare we have puppies under $4000.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Gempoms reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Pomeranians.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+5Misty is super nice and helpful throughout the whole process! All of her puppies were so cute, and we immediately fell in love with a little girl pup. Misty answered all of our questions quickly. You can tell she really cares about her dogs and pups and wants the best homes for them. When we arrived at her home to pick up our puppy, she had a little goodie bag with treats, toys, and even a plush pink bed for us to take home! I highly recommend working with Misty to find your forever buddy!
