I'm Crystal R., the breeder behind Gigi’s Superior Shih Tzus located in Fort Worth, TX. We're new breeders starting a small program. We hope to help provide families with quality puppies as we continue to learn & grow! We are a small enough program that we are able to thoroughly focus on each individual dog and puppy and their needs. We take pride in the time and dedication we give to every litter.

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve been raising Shih Tzus for about 10 years. They have been the love of my life. And, my goal is to make sure that you have the same experience.
What makes your program special?
We breed in a child friendly and loving home. So, that when you bring the love of your life home. They will be prepared for all the hugs and kisses you have for them.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white and black gold and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Crystal has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $650 - $1,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
