I'm Kurtis S., the breeder behind Glacier Aussies located in Kila, MT. We are Aussie dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion with others. We health test all our dogs. We only breed once a year to ensure the strongest puppies. We are dedicated to always providing our puppies with the best home and positive experience we can.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding to preserve the nature of the aussie. We wanted to share our love and devotion to the breed standard. Being able to share my love of aussies with others has been so great.What makes your program special?
We take the time to interact with the pups at an early age till the day they leave. We raise them in a home envirment with lots of love like family memebers. We apply puppy culture pratices.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Calypso
Calypso is a very high drive dog when it comes to the ball. But she does really good in public settings and meeting new people. We added her for size as she is on the taller side of standard Australian shepherds with great structure. She is full genetic panel clear and is working towards OFA's hip and elbow. She is CAER eyes clear.

Ruby is a very calm dog who will just sit and snuggle next to you or at your feet. She is a very low drive dog. Ruby came to us from walla walla Washington. Luna is what started me on the path to breeding dogs. She has been an excellent companion to me and the family. Loves to go on hikes and car rides. Has had the biggest litters and done it all by herself. She is now retired and helps correct the new puppy's when they get out of hand.

Blaze is a male Australian Shepherd almost 8 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Kurtis decided to make him part of their program. Kurtis has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
