Gleiming Stars Aussie

Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica H., the breeder behind Gleiming Stars Aussie located in Madison County, KY. Our dogs are our pets first and foremost. Our goal is to produce pups that will make wonderful additions to the family or sport/ breeding program. We strive to focus on our dogs' temperaments and structure to ensure that our puppies are sound and good representations of the breed standard, capable of the tasks/duties typical for the breed. We can't wait to introduce you to your next best friend!

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up showing my dogs as a junior handler and helping my mom in her breeding program. After graduating college and starting a family of my own, I decided it was time to get back into the dog world.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs “specialize” in different talents from agility, to rally, to scent-work, to couch potato. With careful consideration and planning, we have a wide range of possibilities in our litters and strive to match puppies with the most suitable family according to their requests.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
