Global Waters Chesapeakes

Sarah F.

Breeder of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah F., the breeder behind Global Waters Chesapeakes located in Dayton, OH. All of my dogs are pets first and live in my home. Second they are companions who participate with me in dog sports. I only have occasional litters which are raised in my home. All of my puppies are bred to have excellent health and conformation and socialized to have excellent temperments.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding gradually. I signed my first puppy up for puppy kindergarten because that was what I was supposed to do. In the process, I fell in love with both dog training and the Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Now I breed dogs to be excellent pets and companions who can excel at any task their families ask of them.
  • What makes your program special?

Because I only breed occasional litters, every litter is carefully planned and raised to produce the best Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. The breeding is planned to produce puppies with excellent health and conformation. The puppies are raised with as many experiences as I can give them to produce confident puppies with excellent temperaments who can do anything their families ask of them.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
