Meet the breeder

I'm Gina R., the breeder behind God’s Little Aussies located in Ennis, TX. Australian Shepherd puppies in Ennis, Texas, raised for calm, connected family temperaments. They say home is where the heart is—but for an Aussie, home is wherever you are. We raise more than dogs—we raise companions ready to share life’s sweetest moments. Whether hiking shady trails, floating the lake with little ones, riding shotgun through mountain views, or sitting on the couch watching a movie… these Aussies are built for connection, comfort, and quiet courage in every kind of setting. 🤎 Raised on purpose. 🤎 Tailored for families. 🤎 Ready to explore— not just the world, but your heart. They don’t just keep up—they keep close. And that’s what makes every adventure feel like home. Each puppy is lovingly raised through our Heartmender Foundations with intentional handling, thoughtful enrichment, and everyday life exposure, allowing them additional time to grow in confidence, social awareness, and readiness before joining their families. Our goal has never been simply placing puppies quickly — it’s thoughtfully pairing each little one with the home where they’re most likely to thrive for years to come 🤎 Our puppies deserve a home where they will be included, cherished, mentally engaged, and loved as a true companion. Our guiding principle is simple — to send home a healthy puppy who feels safe, connected, and ready to become a cherished member of their new family.

Q. & A. with Gina

  • Why did you start breeding?

We live such busy lives, and through no one's fault, we often lose connection amidst the hustle and bustle. When we feel disconnected from the true essence of life, the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) is there — with unwavering loyalty, commitment, love, and the drive to remind us that we truly matter and make a difference. How much does an Aussie love? As much as a heart needs a beat! This is why!!
  • What makes your program special?

While a breeding program involves plenty of meticulous details, we ensure every 't' is crossed and every 'i' is dotted for our clients. However, at the end of the day, it's my exceptional Aussie parents who truly make the magic happen, producing those one-of-a-kind babies just for you.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Aussiedoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Aussiedoodle puppies include cream, brown merle, apricot, brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black phantom, black and white, and black tri-color. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Gina was wonderful to work with & you can tell she really loves the breed. She's very involved in placing her puppies in good homes & meets with each family/person who gets one of her puppies. Good Dog made communication & secure payment easy & reassuring. We are over the moon in love with our mini aussie, who we named Riddick.

I had a wonderful experience with Gina and God‘s little Aussie’s! Ella has truly been a gift from God to my family. You can tell that Gina pours love into her breeding. She was very informative and provided a binder with all of the necessary information for the pup which I thought was very thoughtful. She even went above and beyond and included extra toys that my boys could share their first bond with Ella. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends. ❤️

Gina was so professional. As soon as we found Blossom (Sage), we knew she was the right one for us. We are so happy and in love with her. Gina is a bright and beautiful soul, she cares so much about the pups 🐶

Gina made the whole process so seamless & easy. My vet was also VERY impressed with the detailed records she provides for each pup. My little Witchy Benny is the happiest & healthiest little pup & so so so well behaved & adjusted. He’s the kind of pup that’s SO good he makes you think “well we could get another right?”

Apollo (we changed his name from Parker to Apollo) has been such a wonderful addition to our family. From day one, he’s been incredibly sweet, calm, and attentive. He has the perfect balance of a laid-back personality with playful moments, and he’s very observant—always paying attention to what’s going on around him and staying close by like a little shadow. You can tell he was well cared for early on. He’s healthy, alert, and adjusting beautifully to his new home. His temperament is exactly what we hoped for: gentle, affectionate, and intelligent. He’s already showing how smart he is and how eager he is to learn. We couldn’t be happier with Apollo. He’s not just a puppy—he’s already family. We’re so grateful to have him and would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a loving, well-rounded dog.

We had a wonderful experience working with Gina! From the beginning, she was friendly, professional, and clearly cared about her puppies. She made sure we were well prepared to welcome Sugar home—providing treats, toys, food, and even a detailed binder full of helpful information. Gina was also very flexible with scheduling and delivery, which made the whole process so much smoother. You can tell she puts a lot of love and effort into raising her dogs. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a happy, healthy pup!
