Arica was such a pleasure to work with! Arica cares deeply for her fur babies and it shows as soon as you bring the puppy home. Arica was in constant communication with me providing updates on our fur baby and quick to answer any questions I had. Our baby Trigg came home happy, healthy, and very loving which I attribute to Arica’s consistent cuddling and handling of all the puppies. Trigg was not scared of the vacuum or any other routine household noises because he was kept in Arica’s living room. Arica had Trigg’s parents & grandparents in the home helping to raise the puppies and it makes such a positive difference in the puppy behaviorally. We really appreciated the care and attention Arica gave to our fur baby because it set him up to be a happy and healthy puppy. Arica’s medical background made it so much easier for me to understand what to expect as the puppy matures. We fell in love the minute we met Trigg and rested assured knowing Arica’s medical training and extensive breeding knowledge would help prevent any issues that could arise while we waited to take Trigg home. Another very important aspect to Arica’s story is she does not continuously breed her female Shih Tzu which is so important to us ethically. Arica was such a pleasure to work with and we are forever grateful for our baby Trigg!

5 stars all around! I cannot recommend Arica highly enough. She was absolutely fantastic to work with and went above & beyond, sending photos + videos of my puppy once, often twice a week. I especially loved that when I decided on his name, she updated his profile from "Boy 3" to "Oliver" and immediately started calling him Oliver, also sharing her using his name in her videos she sent. Oliver knew his name the second I brought him home! He is an adorable, good boy with so much personality, and loves playing with toys + finding sticks in the yard. He now has a stick collection in the house from various twigs/sticks he brings inside with him. He loves bathing at the storm door watching out the window & flops on his back constantly to sleep like a noodle. He has bonded beautifully with my 53 lb Bernedoodle, who was already in love with my parents Shih Tzu prior to bringing Oliver home. My Bernedoodle Ivy & little Shih Tzu Oliver from Arica are obsessed with each other and we could not be a happier little trio. Arica and her husband met me ~60 minutes outside of Toledo for a small fee to pick him up which was very helpful for me and it was incredibly reassuring that she handles the handoffs locally herself (with her husband) rather than using a puppy nanny service/"delivery" service & shows just how much she genuinely cares about where her puppies go vs potentially traumatizing them on a puppy delivery truck. I would absolutely get another puppy from Arica in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for an adorable 10lb Shih Tzu who carries a lot more weight in personality.
