Meet the breeder

I'm Joshua A., the breeder behind Gold Phoenix Afghans located in Glendale, AZ. We are a small hobby program, located in the South West of Phoenix, Arizona. We take pride in what we do, and we love our dogs! We started our program in 2004. Our puppies come from carefully selected paired dogs. We breed for health, temperament & structure.

I’m a second generation dog show enthusiast. Picking up the lead in my mothers footsteps has been one of the most accomplishing merits of my time.
  • What makes your program special?

The fact that we are preserving older pedigrees; all-the-while, moving forward, into the future with soundness and fact based science to aid our breeding program.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, silver, red, cream, blue and cream, blue, black and tan, black and silver, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
