I'm Carmen H., the breeder behind Golden Paws Dachshunds located in Anderson, CA. We offer quality dachshunds babies! They are very well cared for and have amazing personalities! We are dedicated to providing great family members!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mom has bred while I was growing up and I’ve just fell in love with producing quality family members! They are a joy to raise and love.

  • What makes your program special?

    We breed for quality dachshunds not quantity.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Carmen

Carmen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Carmen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,700 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price includes AKC or CKC registration- vet checked microchipped dewormed microchip vaccination dewormings, and going home goodies. Holding fee includes puppy’s care until he/she goes home, vaccines microchip and dewormings.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Our puppy was a Christmas gift for our son, and what a blessing he has been. Carmen was wonderful in communicating with us throughout the entire process; sending weekly updates and photos as the puppy grew. When it was time to pick him up, Carmen was very accommodating. She met my mom at the airport to fly him down to us. Carmen provided food, toys and even a gift bag with the puppy's name on it. She included records of vaccinations, and microchip information. Everything was handled very professionally. Hopefully we can adopt another puppy from Carmen in the future.
