I'm Janelle G., the breeder behind Golden State Good Dogs located in Concord, CA. We produce beautiful Poodle and Bernedoodle puppies. We focus on health, pedigree, color, and size to offer the perfect pup! We raise all of our dogs with love in our home. We use ENS (early neurological stimulation), Puppy Culture Protocol, and are using the Badass Breeder Protocol. One of our previous puppies "works" in a high school. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home!

Why did you start breeding?
We initially fell in love with Goldendoodles and Poodles. Our dogs have proven to be incredible, loving companions, and we wanted to share that experience with others by producing healthy, happy puppies. It is so fulfilling!
What makes your program special?
We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to ensure they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Poodle puppies include toy, miniature, and moyen sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Poodle puppies include apricot, black, brown, cafe au lait, parti, phantom, and brindle. Goldendoodle puppies include red, black, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Janelle

Janelle has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Janelle partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

"We help match families with their puppy at around 6 weeks old so we have better knowledge about their personality, temperament, and size. This helps ensure that your puppy is a good energy match for your home rather than choosing solely on appearance. Families select their puppy in the order they place a deposit. Puppy picks can be done in-person in Concord CA or over video chat based on your preference & location. "

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"This includes their first puppy shot, veterinary examination, microchip, a small bag of food, a toy, and a 1 year genetic health guarantee. This amount will count towards the purchase price. If you are unable to complete the purchase of a puppy, you may transfer the deposit one time to a future litter."

Edie is a smart, sweet and submissive girl with a whopping 1/3 Bernese Mountain Dog DNA in her compact 19 pound body. Her guardian says that’s she “thinks she’s the mayor and needs to say hi to everybody” which I’ve found to be accurate about her and her sister, Honey.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
