Goldie Girls Ranch Dachshunds

Lila Pearl is our sweet sassy little girl. Don't let her small size fool you, she can keep up with the pack with no problem. This dainty girl has had two litters of puppies for us and she is a very protective excellent Mama. She required no assistance whelping and was completely calm and in control. Lila is a little unsure of people sometimes due to her small size but once she gets to know you she is super sweet. Lila lives the spoiled princess life and spends most of her time in our king size bed sleeping on top of a stack of our comfy pillows. If you can't find Lila, chances are good the King size bed will be the first place you will find her.

Cheyenne is the wingnut of the bunch, we lovingly call her a weasel. She is playful and full of energy and very curious. No matter what you are doing, Shy Shy will be right in the middle of it guaranteed. She loves everyone and thinks everyone needs to drop everything to give her attention constantly. She is good natured and keeps us laughing with her silly antics. She is a beautiful brindle girl and she produced a very lovely set of dapple brindle pups with Kirby, our Isabella tuxedo dapple. Hands down this girl has the best personality and she is the most requested doxie in our house when company comes over!

Kirby is an Isabella tuxedo dapple. He definitely has the wow factor and the personality. Kirby is strong and fast. This boy could hands down win the weiner races with his speed and agility. He is a fun loving, quirky boy with a funny disposition that will keep you laughing with his hilarious antics.

Sophie Rose is one of the first dachshunds we acquired and she set the bar high for any of dogs to come. Sophie has had one litter of puppies with us and she was a dream. She is the perfect mama and known around our ranch as the house midwife. All of the other expecting dams whether seasoned or new all allow Sophie to stay with them while whelping. She is a calming presence and motherly figure and she is worth her weight in gold. Sophie is obedient and friendly with anyone she comes in contact with and her disposition is wonderful. I have people ask all the time for a Sophie baby due to her sweet, calm demeanor. We would be lost without this sweet girl at the Ranch.

Huckleberry Blue is one of our very own puppies born and bred here at Goldie Girls Ranch. He is a blue dapple piebald and he is gorgeous! There are sometimes as a breeder you fall in instant love and thus Huckleberry became part of the family. He is super cuddly and has a wonderful temperament. When he is old enough he will make a wonderful sire and we are excited to see the offspring he will be able to produce. Until then, we are soaking in every minute of this sweet boy being a puppy and enjoying him.

Avery Annabelle is a one of a kind dog. Not only is she strikingly beautiful with her distinct chocolate dapple pattern but she also has the most beautiful blue eyes. Avery is as down to earth and sweet as they come and she adores children. She is the epitomy of a good lap dog and she is the reason they call dogs man's best friend. She is loyal, protective, and always eager to get belly rubs. She is a fierce Mama who never wants a break from her babies and it is fun to watch her as her puppies grow. She almost turns back into a puppy herself to play with them. She has the temperament, the looks, and all the qualities you look for in a dog. If there ever was a perfect sausage dog, Avery is it!

Retta is my long sought after hidden dapple cream baby. She is as sweet as they come with a distinguishable blue eye. She is the ring leader of the bunch and likes to keep everyone else in line. Retta just had her first set of puppies and she was a champ that required no help whelping. She is a great Mom to her pups and has a very docile even temperament. Loretta was bred to Copper, our shaded cream male and their puppies are adorable. I'm very excited to see how their looks evolve as they get older. This pair was a match made in heaven.

Arlo is the newest addition to our crew. Right now he is a round little butterball that is super energetic. He is a long haired black and tan dapple piebald boy and I am super excited about this boys future here at Goldie Girls. He comes from a good line of stock and it honestly should be a crime to be this cute! Stay tuned. I am betting his offspring will be gorgeous.

Dutch is a lover. He is always the first one to greet us and he loves to follow us around in the yard. He gets along well with other dogs and people and he is extremely protective of children. We lovingly call Dutch the nickname of Bruno from the Disney movie Encanto because Dutch has an uncanny way of hiding and then just reappearing from nowhere. We joke he must be hiding in the walls. Dutch is family oriented and loves attention. He takes a minute to warm up to new people but he doesn't forget a face. Once you are in Dutch's good graces, you have made a friend for life.

Ginny is our beautiful black and tan piebald with heavy ticking. She was a first time Mama at the end of 2025 and she was a rockstar. She gave us some beautiful dapple pie puppies in blues and Isabellas. Ginny is a little shy at first but warms up fast. We call her centipede or wiggle butt because when you call her she gets low to the ground and slithers to you wiggling her butt the entire time. Ginny loves to be in bed with us and she is the queen of burrowing under the blankets to sleep. She loves belly rubs and is always playful at heart taking every opportunity to play with the litters of puppies we have. She is irreplaceable and a true gem to our family and breeding program.

Maverick is the black sheep of the family in the very best way. He tolerates the other dogs just fine but would always choose to ditch his canine friends to hang out with his human family. He is quiet with a sweet demeanor and he is very bright. He caught on to all training at a very young age. He is inquisitive and protective and demands to be involved in everything going on. I truly think he believes he is a human. He has made some beautiful babies for us in the past and he is such a wonderful value asset to our program and loved beyond measure.

Copper is the sweetest boy. He is the most loving, protective dog we could have asked for and is wonderful with children and other animals. He is always happy to greet new company and in his perfect world he would stay cuddled on your lap all day. We lovingly call him Dennis the Menace because as with any dog his age he likes to find trouble. (Don't we all sometimes?)
