Grace Oaks Aussies

Meet the breeder

I'm Krys F., the breeder behind Grace Oaks Aussies located in Houston, TX. We breed and show paramount Aussies of all sizes. Our puppies come from health and genetically tested parents. I carefully choose the sire and dam in order to produce the best quality possible. I strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy.

Q. & A. with Krys

  • Why did you start breeding?

I researched breeds heavily when looking for another dog. Every search I made kept coming back to the mini Aussie. Once I found a breeder I connected with, I found a pup I liked. I fell in love with his temperament and affection. I knew I wanted to reproduce this same joy and happiness and bring it to others.
  • What makes your program special?

Some breeders choose to have their dogs in kennels or dog runs with little or no interaction. My program is different in that my dogs live, socialize, eat, and sleep in my home and are treated as family, as they should be. I believe temperament is just as important as the health of the dogs and puppies they produce. My goal is to produce healthy, happy puppies that families will be proud to own.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
