Paula H.

Breeder of Boykin Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Paula H., the breeder behind Gracemore Kennel located in Franklin, TN. My focus is on maintaining the Boykin Spaniel standard by raising structurally sound and correct puppies with excellent temperaments. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's well-loved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics, and I take pride in my breeding program.

Q. & A. with Paula

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bred Labradors for 25 years and absolutely loved it. After a recent break, I have switched over to Boykin Spaniels. I had the opportunity to show in conformation, obedience, rally, and hunt trials, and I simply fell in love with the breed. I am very excited to participate in the dog world again and share this incredible breed with others!
  • What makes your program special?

I have 25 years of breeding experience with Labs, and am working with mentors to make sure my Boykin program is just as thorough in regards to all recommended practices. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I truly love Boykin Spaniels and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
