I'm Sandy A., the breeder behind Gracie Doodle located in Connecticut. Gracie Doodle is a small, family-raised doodle program focused on health, temperament and raising confident puppies in our home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our love for dogs and family led us to raise puppies the way we would want one raised—at home, with care, structure and daily interaction. We had our first litter in 2014, and while we loved the experience, we realized we had a lot to learn. Since then, we have continued to grow through education, experience and a commitment to always improving our program, so each puppy gets the best start.

  • What makes your program special?

    We intentionally keep our program small so every dog and puppy is truly known, not just managed. Each litter is thoughtfully planned, carefully monitored and raised with consistency, hands-on care and so much love from day one.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Goldendoodle puppies include silver, cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Sandy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.

“We begin matching puppies around the 6 week mark. Once we know what type of temperament and personality our pups have and what families are looking for in a puppy. We allow visits around the 4 week mark. ”

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
