I'm Julie L., the breeder behind Grammie's Poodles and Grampies Labradors located in Harrisburg, MO. We strive to have happy, healthy, and well-trained breeding dogs so that we can provide you with quality and Poodle pups! We are dedicated to providing individuals and families with their "furever" friend or helper. Both breeds work great for service dogs as well as hunting, retrieving, making you smile, and, of course, enjoying your lap! Poodles do hunt very well and love the weather outside more then you can imagine.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
I started at a young age, as I grew up helping my family breed dogs. It's in my blood, and I am devoted to continuing that legacy and perfect what I enjoy doing most - providing quality companions for loving families to enjoy! It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.
What makes your program special?
I was truly blessed with the education of animals on the farm from an early age. My animals are my family, and I put back into my community any profits from breeding! I am very dedicated to what I do and what I aim to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I want nothing more than to see each and every one of my dogs and puppies shine!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Labrador Retriever
About Lilly
Lilly has the most beautiful smile. She loves everyone she meets. She is a beautiful dog with great genetics. I had her health tested through Wisdom panel and she was completely clear. She always throws a big heathy litter of puppies. Never loses any puppies which is amazing. I could not ask for a better companion service dog.
Maverick, dad
Labrador Retriever
About Maverick
A Gentle Giant. Nothing bothers Maverick, he is always chilling. He is the chunky English Labrador and he came to us from South Dakota. Best decision we have ever made.
Maggie, mom
Poodle
About Maggie
I had never had a standard poodle until Maggie. Well I fell and broke my hip and that was when she just naturally became my service dog. WOW they are absolutely amazing dogs. I had to begin berthed so maybe others could enjoy this breed as much as I do. Maggie is the gentlest mother and a very caring all around dog.
Daisy Mae, mom
Poodle
About Daisy Mae
She loves anything as long and she is with you. Totally a family dog and just loves smiling at you. Very good dog and great with other animals.
Jack, dad
Labrador Retriever
About Jack
Jack is my service dog and never had to be trained to do so. He is a gentle giant. He was my first standard poodle and I am totally in love with the breed now. He loves other dogs and loves people.
