I'm Marrisa M., the breeder behind Grand Mesa Mini Dachshund located in Cedaredge, CO. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Dachshund puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding for my absolute love for the breed, our family otherwise would not be able to afford a puppy hence me wanting to breed our 7 year old momma 1 last time, she's had 2 litters and is a amazing momma! She's been a wonderful dog to us, no health issues amazing temperament!What makes your program special?
We are a family, we don't have litters often! they are well socialized around kids! I absolutely love the puppy time we get, they are THE cutest!Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
